Bilal's sorrow for the Prophet

Ya Rasul1, our Imam2,
Where are you to see us?
Since you left this world,
Bilal3 doesn't make Azaan4 anymore.

When I get up to make Azaan,
A deep sorrow overcomes me.
Without the Rasul, this world had
Became as dark as the abyss.

Chorus (2x):
Ya Rasul Allah5, ya Habib Allah6!
Ya Rasul Allah5, ya Nabi Allah7

Umar8 and Ubaydah9 had come,
Each one uttering their wish:
Come on, call the Azaan, o Bilal,
Make the Rasul be joyful!

Allah had honored us,
Giving us the Qudsi Sharif10,
The land of Isra and Mi'raj11,
Today is accepting the Din12 Islam.

Chorus (2x).

And when the Bilal, above the Quds,
Uttered his sorrowful call,
The memory had came to the As-Sahabah13,
And the tear had drenched their eyelids.

May Allah the Great grant you,
O dearest Muezzin14,
To call in times when,
The Tuba tree15,
Bends over the Kawthar16!

Ignorant Courage

I think you have to shut up, don`t talk much
because a moment doesn`t mean anything
If out of the friends who have gone, there`s ones who`ve stayed
the road is long, we need to go.

What kind of used up love is this?
In four corners of the world, there`s no blood like this
If your eyes tear up, tell me
Then I will say that it`s okay you have pride.

No, in you even the `L` of love isn`t present.
No, don`t you dare make romises from your heart, you don`t have one
come on, that`s an entirely ignorant courage
But come see that that`s how love likes its captivity.

Every day

[verse 1]
Every day is the same as yesterday
Afternoon's for sleep and evenings are for parties
You've no idea but you're the same
But it's too late to change something
Every day is the same as yesterday
We buy cheap wine
An hour left before the metro is closed
We put on jeans and sneakers
And drink everything on our way
Everyone is waiting for us in the downtown

[chorus]
Every day we die a little
Every day we live a little
If anything, the subway will help us to
Understand where is our home

[hook]
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?

[verse 2]
And we are going nowhere
Every day ends in the morning
Almost dawn
No cars on the road yet
It seems that it will last forever
We wake up somewhere far away
It's not clear where and with whom
We put on jeans and sneakers
We run out into the street quickly
An hour left before the metro is open

[chorus]
Every day we die a little
Every day we live a little
If anything, the police will help us to
Understand where is our home

[hook]
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
What you gonna do?
When everyone's gone?

The old pirate

With the side of the hand she smooths down the map
Smiles and drinks her bit of the schnapps
On the map a mountain, a river, a bridge
At the top on the right an arrow north-south written on it
Down jagged is the line of the coast
Her finger moves over the paper to the place.

Then she takes the pen, raises her voice and speaks:
Where the cross is there lies my treasure.
Where the cross is there lies my treasure.

An expedition from the heritages of the old ones
Starts traveling with tents and a boat
They row from the coast upcountry
Endangered by tropical heat and wilderness
Onward, may thirst torture you
And the brambles scratch your arms!
Onward, think about it, the old one said
Where the cross is there lies my treasure!
Where the cross is there lies my treasure!

When the companions plagued by exertions
See the frail wooden bridge after days
And then go up the slope to the forest border
At the foot of the mountain.
So far the map is right. 'There it is!', cries one
They run the last bit in a wild hounding.
And cry celebrating and jumbled:
Where the cross is there lies the treasure.
Where the cross is there lies the treasure.

Out with the spade! They dig and dig.
A hitting, a stabbing, a competition begins.
One already lies slain when finally in the dawn
The box becomes visible, wooden and big.
Notched into the wood you can read
Hard to decipher the following sentence:
I slayed him at dawn, may he rest in peace!
Where the cross is there lies my treasure.
Where the cross is there lies my treasure

Лазурный край

Versions: #2
